This is the map of the Asian region that a famous explorer and map producer of the Great Britain,
Robert Dudley, produced in 1646. The shape of Korea is different from now but the name was
marked in Italy words of "Regno di Corai, Penisola" for marking of Korea and the East Sea was
marked as the "Mare di Corai". This map is the second oldest map from the maps to mark
the East Sea as the Sea of Korea from the ancient maps found in the west. In 1615,
Manoel Godinho de Heredia produced the Asia map with the mark of the East Sea as the "MAR CORIA".
